So i have a gaming setup and its an L shape desk i have my pc in the middle on the L in the corner of my room and my computer monitor(24inch) on the small side of the L but then on the other side i have a 36Inch LG tv and it stands out like a sore thumb. ive been looking online and found the lg 25um58-p
its an ultra-wide monitor but i just wanted to know if i plug my xbox one and Sky Q mini box into the monitor will i have black bars/Stretched picture or will it sit nice on the ultra wide? i will rep for useful information!

I don't believe you will. I've read that with the LG ultra wide monitors that they have a seamless feature where you can separate two different inputs within the LG settings if I am not mistaken. I would do research and follow through on that because I want one myself where I don't have to rely on 2 24" monitors

It will work fine, you just have to tweak with the console a little bit possibly. Other than that PC should be fine as long as your card is good for 1080.

You should be able to but it might have to be adjusted in the monitors settings

No, your console will not display in 21:9 aspect ratio. I've never actually used a console on my own 25UM58-P so I'm not sure if it stretches the image to fit or if there are just black bars at the sides, but it will be one of those two. It doesn't make any sense to use anything other than a TV or a 1080p monitor with a console.

I have the same monitor, and on both the PS4 and Xbox One the image is stretched to fit the entire display area.
