You're not paid in life by how hard you work. You're paid by how much of an impact you make.

Saying that footballers don't work their ass off is pure ignorance, they work far harder than the most people. If being a footballer was easy then everyone would be a footballer.

You could literally apply what you said to anything that pays well, American football, cricket, basketball, acting, etc. Just because someone makes more money than you and doesn't work as hard isn't a reason to be jealous.

Im not jealous at all lol im quite happy how i am 60k a year but to say footballers work harder and have a bigger impact than soldiers for example is bullsh*t soldiers have a much bigger impact and i dont see them earning stupid amounts.

So you're not even slightly jealous that most footballers earn more in a week than you do in a year? They drive all the best cars, have huge mansions etc? Of course you are, we all wish we had ferraris and earned that much per year and there's nothing wrong with that.

Footballers have spent hours every day training from when they were kids to when they're adults. Then they have to be scouted by a club, get through the youth teams and get signed by a professional team. The majority of people could get into the army and pass all the physical tests within a year's training easilly. It's not hard to be a soldier and they don't deserve a ridiculous amount of money either. Sure, it's a respectable job but nothing more than a firefighter, policeman or doctor.

Not sure if you're joking or not when you're saying that soliders have more of an impact than footballers do. If Ronaldo scores a hattrick in the final of the world cup, that causes far more attention and has a much bigger effect than one soldier dying or killing someone.

What's the pay gap got to do with anything?? Footballers aren't paid by the government, they are paid by rich business men.

Think about this Cristiano Ronaldo earns 20+ million a year in wages off Real Madrid but think about how much money he makes them off shirt sales worldwide? Mega money so basically he's paying his own wage.

Soldiers deserve good pay but they get paid by the government and don't deserve mega money, as Motivational said you can train to be a soldier but you have to be born with skill to become a footballer, it's not just something you learn over night.
