So I just got a new box for my 2 12s. When I play at high volume and sometimes low volume When a 37-43hz song plays you can hear it hitting. I've ran them in sealed until now. I dont know if I have to much power in these two because I was running this amp on 3 12s. Here at the specs if everything.
12 Inch Skar
Skar 1000.1D
Box dimensions.
37"L x 14"W x 16.6"H
4.06Cubic Feet
Box is tuned @27Hz

Thanks in advance will rep

I'm pushing 700rms right now. I had 1000 RMS but dropped it to 700.

1000 watts is alot of power for only 2 12s. That might be your issue. I have 2 12s and im only using a 750 watt amp

That depends on the sub.

There are 12s out that are available for relatively cheap that can handle over 3k.
Size and cone area doesn't play as big of a role in power handling as people think.
