Hey recently I have been using chrome and I have been clicking on anything random such as a login button or even a go button or anything. Ill click it and all of a sudden a new tab pops up with ads whether its saying my computer infected or even meet local girls in your area. I've looked in my control panel nothing suspicious at all. I have been doing virus scans which pop up as 0 threats and today I downloaded adwcleaner_6.043 and it caught about 6 threats still getting pop ups. Please help

Hi, so as u have already tried to use a adware removal program i suggest for u to use malwarebytes, if it dont find the problem(s) then i suggest for u to do a clean install of windows again...
Sometimes there is not much u can do about malware.

Kind regards

Download Malwarebytes and run a full scan.

Should clear up anything nasty.

If not, reinstall the OS.

You really need to do a fresh install of Windows!

You can try using malwarebytes but odds are the virus is tucked away somewhere, or spread out through multiple files.

For future reference don't click on random s***. And don't try to crack programs.
If something sounds to good to be true, then it is.

I suggest downloading AVAST free antivirus if you don't have one. Be very weary as to what you're downloading. ALSO, avast has an option for inbrowser to show you safe websites.

Download Malware Bytes and Hitman Pro, install them but don't run them yet. Take a look at your Chrome Extensions too and if anything is there that shouldn't be there, delete them from Chrome. After that restart you PC, boot into safe mode. Before running any of the programs, go back into Control Panel and look one more time for anything that seems suspicious. After that do a quick look through your folders for anything sketchy. I had this issue before and mine was a file, program and Chrome Extension called Lucky Savings; just look through your program files, program files x86, downloads and documents folders; any other folder if you feel you need to look there. If you find anything that you know shouldn't be there, delete and empty your recycle bin. After that run Malwarebytes first. Let it scan and erase any malicious files. Finally run Hitman Pro and let it scan for any malicious software. Once all of that is out of the way, restart your PC normally, load up Google Chrome and see if any new tabs are popping up like they were before, if nothing is happening like before, great, just be careful next time about how you use the internet. If it still doesn't fix, it's time to do a fresh install.

What your talking about isnt Malware. It is. Just annoying pop up windows that continually refresh so its hard to close them by just pretty the x at the top right. If if happens again, just press ctrl alt delete and go to task manager and end the process for chrome. Feel free to pm me if you need anymore help

Well i mean the ad's are usually based on your search history..

That isn't malware or adware, get adblocker and you're good.
