Agreed. I'm getting a geometric forearm sleeve later this year. Am I getting it because I love geometry? No.
I'm getting it because I like how it looks.

It also avoids the whole, "What does it mean then?" situation where you have to tell the same story over and over again.

Bring in them hated votes guys, but i'm with Lily on this one. I have a full sleeve tattoo which means the absolute world to me. The whole meaning behind mine is Family and what meant the most to them. Like roses, hands of god. Things like that. I don't really like the idea of tribals or any of that type. Although if it had a meaning to it, then i'd probably consider it. My inner bicep is "My family in my past, my present and my future". I like the whole script/font styles, but that's just me. Each to their own on things like tattoos.

Get what you want, not what we do

This is why I hate tattoos. People get these stupid meaningless tattoos that other people on a gaming forum thought was cool, and now the sorry sucker is stuck with it for life.

If you want to get a tattoo, get something with meaning. Don't get a wolf humping on a tree with a picture of James Dean on it because someone thought it would be cool.

let's be realistic here. There's not really such thing as a super meaningful tattoo. You got it because you thought visible artwork made you stand out and you like the attention. Just because something has meaning doesn't mean you get it tattooed. You can just simply keep it to yourself. People get tattoos because they like the way it looks.
