Is it possible to run this on Linux Ubuntu, or is there a program like this?

Sounds like running a virtual machine is your best option, what are you using it for so we might recommend another program?

I'm dual booting windows and Linux so it's not a problem I was just wondering if it was possible to run on Linux or if it was better I just like being able to make programs with actual interfaces I don't know how to do it without Visual Studio

What would you like to do? Use the .NET framework on Linux?

Look into the Mono project from Xamarin. I've used it to run F# on Linux and it ran just as smoothly as it did on Windows. Here is their IDE: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Or look into the new .NET Core framework. I haven't tried it out, but I'd guess it's practically cross-platform .NET, with some small tweaks. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
