I feel you, especially with the spammers. But, there is too many problems on this site that won't be fixed. People who get staff now-a-days are a prime example, because all it takes is to sit in the shoutbox all day every day and you'll eventually become staff, sooner or later.

True I don't see the use of 'change' though when you specified it hasn't changed. This is very popular in the news on the homepage.

I get that stuff like milestone forum is a bit spammy but at the end of the day it is activity in the forum and just a meaningless number.
I don't get why people are bothered by the 'post count boosters'; just let them do their thing.
I had that form custom removed with a css script because I don't care to see it.

With the shoutbox, people always complain about 'not being nice to new members' because they don't actually attempt to make conversation.
You wouldn't walk up to someone from a bar and expect them to make all the conversation; if you want to talk, have something worth talking about.
It is honestly people with poor social skills that complain about this the most.

Overall, just do your own thing and enjoy yourself man, it's just a website after all.

If people care so much about their post count then let them. At the end of the day it's just a number which shows the amount of posts you've posted. Sounds retarded how i have put it but it's true. The shoutbox is where people can go and have a talk and try to relate to other members. Normally when i am there i see a lot of people asking for rep or just asking for special badges, but some people i talk to in there actually just sit there and talk to people,

hey old friend, i can agree and disagree...everything you have mentioned has always been TTG even back in the day it was just on a much smaller scale so it wasnt noticed as much and more tolerable. Im in a simiilar position as you are now. I dont come on here as often as i used to only dropping by maybe few times a month. I guess alot of that comes with age and theres just to many people on here now to keep up with.
