For example, they tend to try push a 12am release date in the timezone of that store, so me being in the UK, it's a 12am GMT release date here, however, since I purchased it on the Hong Kong store, in terms of timezones, it's actually 16:00pm, 6th March.

I'd assume you're from America if you purchased on your store?

Correct, currently in the U.S.

So the question is, is it because the game studio location or something? I just am curious if i can play at 9:00pm tonight or at midnight..

It says at the bottom it's a local 12am release date, but, I'm assuming you're also on Xbox, idk, the format you posted the release date looks like it's from the Xbox/Microsoft website.

From what I've experience before, the time it shows on the website (Should also show the same on the Xbox store) is the time I've been able to play as I do tend to purchase from a different / later timezone.

Babbling on a bit here, but I checked the release time of the French store a few days back on the MS website, and for the French GMT +1, it showed the release time as 23:00, that being 11pm in the UK, but 12am in France, so TL;DR, I'd expect you to play 9pm as long as it shows the same release time on your Xbox.
