So i bought wildlands today and ive been having some trouble holding 60fps at any settings low medium high very high and i didnt even want to try ultra. Ive tried tinkering with the settings to get them right and ive tried nvidias preset. When i do it myself i only allow like 2500mb of the 4058mb or whatever allowed. when nvidia does it they use like 3500mb.

The latest driver I downloaded was for FOR HONOR I don't think Nvidia has made drivers for wildlands yet.

They have but unfortunately it's up to luck with this game. I have an i5 6600k and an RX 470 OC'd and I get 35-45 FPS on very high. It's just a very poorly optimized game, even people with 1080s are having bad performance.

You should be able to at least get close to 60FPS on high settings with a GTX 970, assuming you have no bottleneck elsewhere. You definitely shouldn't have an issue playing at low settings. Since you've said before that you were having issues with other games, such as BF1, I'm going to have to assume there is a problem somewhere in your system. Keep an eye on CPU and GPU temps, as well as the load of your CPU, RAM, and GPU.

Have you overclocked your CPU and/or GPU? What speed and voltage are they both running at? Do some stress tests to see how stable your system is. We'd actually be able to help if we had some information.

Na man I tried to OC my cpu and it was to much work and I didn't feel like going through it all. But my GPU and CPU are decently cool I have a hyper 212 with 2 fans on it and keeps at about 45-50 celcius my GPU I keep fan speeds while gaming at %65 fan speed on afterburner and my GPU gets a tad hotter than my CPU at around 55-60celcius never more than 70 celcius. My loads and all are fine I usually have nothing running while gaming. Ram I typically use about 6500mb out of my 8000mb. And how should I do the stress test I've never done one on my pc.
