One of the biggest debate topics ever in Basketball history, being argued over for centuries, is whether Magic Johnson or Larry Bird was better. Personally (coming from a Celtics fan) I really admired how legend Larry Bird played the game. I see Larry Bird in myself as I play, both of us being tall white guys who can draw fouls and can play the ball quite well. On the other hand, Magic Johnson played a completely different position so it's difficult to compare the two. Although I really admire how Larry Bird played, I still have to give it to Magic Johnson for being one of the best players who ever played the game, with 17,707 points, 10,141 assists (11.2 per game! That's almost double Larry Bird.) and 6,559 rebounds. Magic Johnson is the assist god! But then again... Larry Bird got more points and rebounds. UGH, I can't choose between them.
