$1100-1200 would be a fair price.

I think you would be better off trying to sell the parts individually than as a whole system.
Typically, 2nd hand systems drop a lot of the normal price mark considering its such a big expense.

If you are insistent on selling it as a whole I reckon you could easily get $1000

Just the CPU & GPU itself is worth more than "fou" or "five hundred".

I'm envious of you if people are selling setups like this near you for that price.

I've seen it happen here a couple of times, ~$1500 rigs go for a low $800-900. Then again there is never a guarantee and it depends on the area you are from, if you are in a more wealth related area setups go for fairly low.

But mean $700 is low for this in specific.

OP: no lower then $1000, so you at least get a decent amount back.

I mean, you just have to take the price of what the system is worth new, which in this case is $1400. Then remove 10-20% for the first year of the components being used and about 10% each year after that. Since everything is relatively new, 10-20% off $1400 is like $1100-1250. Take off a little bit since he's using DDR3, I'd say $1200 is the absolute maximum it's worth. $1100-1200 is fair for the system. What he gets of course is entirely up to the buyer, but $1100-1200 is fair.

I remember when I got bored of SLI 970s so I sold one and made a profit lol, so there's no doubt in my mind OP could get $1200 for the system(at a push tbf). $700 is way too low, even if it does have a low quality PSU and DDR3 RAM.
