The Walking Pet
Platform: Android, iOS
Genre: Arcade
Release Date: August 6, 2015
Developer: Ketchapp
Publisher: Ubisoft
Synopsis
If you think that walking on two legs is easy, the pets do not think so! Be a cat, a cow or a crocodile and try to walk on two legs. How far you can go?
Gameplay
Similar to a game that goes by "Daddy Long Legs". You will take control of both feet of an animal of your selection and walk as far as you can without letting the animal drop to the floor. It may seem easy but the timing you need for this game is incredible. You're going to have to learn how the animals walk by playing the game for a while and learn when the best time to tap the screen let your pet walk properly. You will have a huge selection of different animals to choose from, some being farm animals to some being house hold pets. Each animal you'll have to save up enough fruit to unlock your next one. There are pets that have features that will help you a tiny bit for example the cat has a huge tail so if you happen to lose your balance and fall backwards you'll still have a chance to recover since the tail will hold you up for some time. This game is a lot harder than Daddy Long Legs just because each animals foot is 10x smaller so you'll be tapping faster. The highest run you make will be recorded as a personal best and can be put up to the leaderboards for friends to see. Before installing this game, remember this game is for the strong and you'll need to have a lot of patience and no anger inside of you to play this game. This game is 100% full frustration and can make people go insane for how many tries it will take you to get a high score.
Graphics
The graphics of the game are what you might suspect. You have your color in the background that will automatically change after so many tries or a certain pet you switch to then you have your animals. Personally I believe the animals didn't have enough detail into them, They look like they are just shapes put together to look like an animal. For each animal they could have put hair and detail that made the animal look more real like. Don't get me wrong they look exactly like the game is trying to make it look like its just they could have had a huge opportunity to make them look even better. There's not much other going on in the background of the game or the foreground since all your focus is on the feet of the animal. It would have been nice to maybe see a background that's not just a plain old color but its nothing that will stop me from getting more frustrated at the game. A feature they could have added would be putting little numbers beside each milestone you walk over so you can know how far you're at. In my eyes its just a black line on the ground for my animal to walk over.
Controls
To move your feet you'll need to tap your screen. Each time you tap your control of each foot will switch making it hard since you're going to need good time and control of your pet to keep it walking. There is no other control to help your pet to move. You'll need good coordination with your tapping and movement to keep your pet walking. I found myself messing up a lot because I just couldnt get my finger tapping at the right moments getting me super frustrated.

Lol I've never played a game called daddy long legs, but this game looks really funny to me, the top picture looks like my cat but on two legs
Nice review man! You go super in depth, even on mobile games

I really enjoyed playing this game, but I completed it way to quick it took me less than 25 minutes to do. Would be great if they added more characters to the game. All in all a good 30 mins of fun. Spot on review bud.
