So I started my gaming experience with steam on a regular hp 2000 and am wondering about upgrading. I wanna sell my current laptop and get something that can actually handle good graphics and multiplayer. But it has to be a laptop. Does anyone have an idea on what kind is good? And if you can tell me the price too

I highly recommend XoticPC if you're in the states, i've purchased my last two laptops from them and will be purchasing my next one from them as well. [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

I've personally stuck with Sager/Clevo as they still have all the power, just not a lot of extra bells and whistles on most models.

What kind of price range are you looking at? We will be able to select a few laptops from you to choose from that will fit your needs.

Depending on your budget and what games you want to play will decide your laptop, but I will give you my choices for some price point and looks.

So at the top price point would be the Razer Blade(~A LITTLE PRICEY)
-It is very thin and looks very nice. People will argue with this but I think the portability is great and makes it a great purchase.

At mid range I would say the Asus ROG Strix GL502(~1100?)
-It has a 1060/1070, depending on what you choose, DDR4 ram, the i7, and a SSD + HDD. However this is a little thicker, but not super.

At the bottom I would recommend just getting something like a Dell Inspiron (~800)
-They come with a 1050/1050 ti, whichever you chose, up 16gb of ram, an i5 or i7, and an SSD + HDD. However the track pad on these are a little odd and can get annoying (IMO)

Obviously these are laptops, so they will run hot, but they will play all the games that you want them to, but maybe not on ultra settings

Hope this helps!

OP: You'd just be paying for the Razer name.
