Alright so I'm not so sure if this in the "best" forum but, I'm going to purchase an HD60 Pro to pop into my PC to record my PS4 gameplay for future higher quality YouTube videos. (I have an A50 Headset with a USB mix amp) I've seen many YouTube videos on how complicated it is to get it to work. I haven't been able to find any recent videos on this so far, most of the newest ones are 300-days old, and they only allow your Elgato to record the party audio but cause it to play through your TV and not the Headset itself. And they also require an external mic, which I don't mind getting. All I'm wondering if there's been a magical update in the last 300 days or so that will make this process much easier and convenient? And if not, what's the best way to go about this?
Thank-you
Thank-you

I'm pretty sure it records party audio the same way game audio. You just have to make sure the audio settings are through both headset and TV, then the elgato software should pickup party audio.
As for external mic, pretty sure you can just use the same mic you use on your PC with it, not sure if you can tell it to record your voice from ps4 though, as I've never tried.

If I'm honest, YouTube is such a hard platform now to get any momentum in progress I'd say get a cheaper option and see the outcome of posting the videos for a few months before deciding to purchase legato.

I have been doing YouTube for some time now. And I've built up a small community. so far, about 6,000 subs. I would like to make my videos higher quality.
