So I've bough various 3 month cards thought xbox live with a few one months. Every time when it expires it says I don't have gold but I am able to play online, join parties, ect. Before anyone asks no, none of my other accounts have gold and no, no-one is on my home xbox with gold. My account is on my xbox with no gold yet it has been months without gold while still being able to use these services. Not complaining at all just wondering why it's doing this.

lol jk.. That's really weird lol, did you redeem the codes? Have you checked to see if you have gold on the 360?

If you have a card linked to your account then that could be the reason, its happened to me before where they wouldnt charge but after 6 months they suspended my account until i payed the fees. if not then im not sure guess youre lucky

I had this issue before clear your mac address under your network settings

No card linked or anything like that. I buy xbox live cards once and a while but that's it. Since this little glitch I stoped buying them and somehow am still able to do everything a gold user can except buy the free games wit gold. It is weird but not complaining. Lol

If i was you i would be careful. I had this happen quite a while back and eventually i was charged. But, before i was charged my account was suspended until i'd paid off what i owed. So just a heads up.
