Hey Guys so at the moment i have
GPU: GTX1050ti
CPU:AMDfx6300
8gb Ram
Motherboard: ga-78lmt-usb3

I was wondering if my motherboard is compatible with the Intel Core i3 6100 CPU, Also open to suggestions on any other CPU's don't want to spend to much though, cheers

No, you're using an AMD processor & board. You would need a processor compatible with your socket. And tbh it's not worth it. You're better off considering a new board & cpu then looking for one compatible with your board. You'd probably need new ram as well. Ryzen 5 will be out soon & may be something you might want to consider

Ahh okay, thanks for the quick reply. Is there a board and CPU you could suggest for around 200 gbp?

wait for R5/3 if you really want to upgrade the FX 8350 is $150 spend a little more on another 8gb stick of ram and you will be fine.

Need to know the make and model of your case to be able to suggest a compatible motherboard.

Lower end Ryzen CPUs aren't going to be obtainable with your budget since even the 4 core models are rumoured to be priced around £150. So it looks very much like the Pentium G4560 will remain the budget king.
