Okay, so i have been smoking cigarettes for a few years now and seriously want to quit.

I have only smoked 2 cigarettes in the past 48 hours which is really good for considering I used to smoke 10 or more per day.

Has anyone got any tips on how I can shut this disgusting and harmful habit out of my life before it's too late? I am only 18 at the moment but I seriously want to stop smoking them, as it's super expensive, isn't attractive and seriously bad for your health!

So do we have any ex-smokers here who can help me out?!

Thanks a bunch

I've recently quit smoking, I was on 30-40 a day and I've been smoking for 7 years. All you really need is the will power and a reason, me reason was because I'm becoming a dad and also it was impacting my health too much. I got an e-cig and it's really helped me and now I only have one every few days or so

Thanks buddy another thing you could do is try something called champix, it basically makes cigarettes taste horrid and it'll push you away from them, it's a good method to try if you're going cold turkey

E-cigs are one of the most popular choices for those wishing to stop smoking regular cartridges, simply because they work. Look into it on Reddit. My mother quit smoking after 20 years with the help of an e-cig. One thing about them is that they usually (not always though) replace cigarettes rather than eliminate them. They're MUCH cheaper by comparison and much healthier, however I'd estimate about 80% of people who use them to stop smoking just replace their cigarettes with an e-cig. Don't get me wrong though, it's worlds better than smoking cigarettes.

Get a vape.
I quit smoking from a vape and I had enough will power to quit and I just told myself I wanna be healthy in 10 years.
I don't smoke anything at all now. Nic free for about 6-7 months now, idk I lost track.

I would suggest going to a vape with a low Nic level in.
