You could always go back and pay for it like I'm doing, I did computing and I've hated it ever since so I'm going back to college of an evening to get different qualifications

Switch your major maybe

Been in a similar position to you. Through my level one I really wanted to change and take computer a-level courses but because I'd already made the choice the safest option would be to stick with it until I complete all 3 years, get employment from it and make a bit of money. From then I can consider changing career paths if, later down the line I decide that I'm fed up of the one I chose when I first started college.

They're plenty of years left, so I wouldn't worry too much. But the best thing to do is to qualify in something so that you can build a nice CV and get money to transition into a new career. That's how I think of it anyway, there are other things you can do obviously.

Finish the diploma, get an apprenticeship in IT where you can progress as a Level 3 student. I finished 6f and didn't want to go to Uni, got a level 3 apprenticeship in IT. Now I'm doing a degree and working full time. Finish what you can, get as high a grade as you can. If you're serious about a career in IT, an apprenticeship is an excellent way. On the job experience and you get qualifications for it.

Just going to throw it out there even if you did computing the odds of getting work in it are so slim its a joke I did all my college for computing within networking and hardware at the end of it there was no work open for it none at all. plumbing is not bad everyone needs a plumber its high paying and its a skilled trade there is never not a need for plumbers.

Mate I'm currently doing Plumbing, pay is bloody good when you're qualified. Finish your plumbing course then do the extra few years on the gas side.

you can take these classes and never really get anywhere much like Sean said, personally i majored in this before i joined the air force, and took about three years to get where i am at currently to be able to work in cyber security in general.

You're better off doing something that is in demand, or if you really want to pursue anything tech related go for certifications.

You're 18 lol, I think you have plenty of time to do the things that you really want to do.
