So I got my first credit card today. I set a limit of $300 dollars and am a little confused. If I buy something over $300 dollars does my credit card deny it?? Or is it a $300 dollar limit every 24hrs

You have a spending limit up to 300$. If you try to go over the payment will be denied. Once you buy something with the card, you need to pay it off to get that 300$ limit back.

Use it wisely i know few people who made a mistake of swiping their card and got into debt, 300 is not too much but for some people it can be a lot.

It depends where you got your credit card from. Read over your paper work and see what happens when you go over your limit as alot of banks work differently.

Thank you. I was so confused because I even called capital one and it was hard to understand them because of their accent. I wanna buy an Xbox one S but it's over that $300 limit.

Look around online you're bound to snag a great deal on XB1s.

Capital One automatically increases your limit to $500 after 6 months of paying on time. I recommend if you are going to use it, pay it off quickly so you don't pay much on interest.

That 300 will be your limit but it will be a good start to build a credit history
