I love when I trigger people to these posts wasn't mad at all or upset lmao . But I appreciate you righting that on my post buddy
You weren't mad or upset at all, yet you "hate" when people say this stuff to you and it "irks your nerves", not to mention you typed up a post on the Internet just to rant about it. Okay...
I'm not triggered at all lol, maybe your haircut is just a normal haircut and the girl is being an idiot about the whole thing, or maybe she's right and it doesn't suit you at all. If she's right, then I'm trying to explain to you that you'll be treated completely different by people if they don't like the way you look.
Even something as simple as crossing the road, the driver looks at the person and decides if they're going to let them cross or not, people judge you every second they see you and it's just ignorant to say that it doesn't matter what you look like. Job interviews, relationships, and just going through life in general is all heavily dependant on how people perceive you; which is mainly through your appearance.
If your haircut is just a normal haircut and the girl is wrong then all the best to you but if it's really bad then people will treat you differently. I had a mohawk when I was younger and it was one of the stupidest things I've ever done. School didn't like it, friends didn't like it, which made me not like it. Definitely wasn't worth the hassle imo.

VMP wroteMotivational wrote I'm sure the girl meant no harm in what she was saying, all she was implying is that your hairstyle either draws attention away from your looks (which is her giving a compliment to your looks) or that your hairstyle just generally makes you look less attractive. People do care how you look, someone covered in gang tatoos and a shaved head is going to be perceived differently than the average person simply because of the way they look.
You can't see your hair or your face unless you're looking into a mirror or another reflection (which is usually just morning and night). Sure, dress in the clothes you want because it gives a certain impression, you can look rich, athletic etc just by the clothes you decide to wear. But your hairstyle either looks good or bad, that's pretty much as far as it goes.
If a girl is telling you that she thinks your hairstyle makes you look less attractice then you should listen to her instead of complaining and ranting. I'd like to think that people would tell me if my haircut was bad and not just say that it was nice because that's what I want to hear.
Your attutitude is what I'd expect a ten year old child to have when they're told that they can't have a purple mohawk by their parents. The girl was complementing your looks and you've just made a rant about it

if you felt no emotion by it you wouldn't post it and rant about it
