So I have a reference RX 480, I have been using this since the RX 480 came out but I'm not really to happy with the noise levels it's pretty annoying.
I was thinking about purchasing the Red Devil version for better temps and overclocking but I'm hearing loads of mixed opinions on this card and honestly I just don't know if it's worth it.
The card I want to buy:
EDIT: I found this card for a bargain price that's why I'm asking about this particular card

Sell your older card, so you at least get some return value.
Yeah I was looking at that but I found the Red Devil version for like 50 pounds cheaper and honestly I don't know it's a really good deal for the 8GB version but I don't know anymore.

The 8gb 480 rules the $200 card kingdom aside from the 6gb 1060. Either or are a decent value the strix card will suite better, and if you really want to not spend ~200 pounds on a card, look at the Asus dual oc 8gb it should be 190(ish)

There's zero reason to get an Asus 480 over Powercolor if the Powercolor is cheaper. Especially since Red Devil cards are pretty top notch quality. Reference 480a definitely suck, however, I wouldn't 'uograde' from a 480 to another 480, especially considering the 500 series is out soon.
