This is aimed at the older users who are in college, university or even working.
Basically I am going to attempt to get into college for graphic design and afterwards University.
So I'm interested in people's general thoughts and experiences about graphic design or any advice etc.

You can pursue a career in graphic design without needing to go to university and get a degree. I've done it and it's much cheaper. If you want to know any details feel free to PM me

I would say just have a strong passion for it, and try not to get your feelings hurt with the criticism of other people. Overall just have fun with what your doing. If you have anymore questions i would be glad to answer them the best i could.
i am currently a couple semesters in college pursuing the art life B)

I'm not an "older" user but do what you want. If you think you can make a career out of it, then do it. I'm passionate about graphic design but it's mainly a hobby for me, not something I'd go to school for and try to make a career out of. Good luck though.

Decent amount of people into this at my university, seems to be a reasonable field that I know quite a few people have found success in.
