I have lost my passport and I was just wondering what the process is to get a replacement,

This is a new passport and I have only had it 6month (I know I'm an idiot)

I just wanted to know if anybody has gone through the same thing could you answer a few questions.

1: if I purchase a replacement passport and tell them the other is Lost/stolen will I need to get 2 new passport photos or could they use my original one off the old passport.

2: if I need new photos will I need to get them countersigned again.

3: will have have to attend an interview for the new passport (as I did for my first adult passport)

I'm not in any rush to get a new one but just needed some info on how I go about getting the new 1.

Any help will receive some +Rep. Thanks

As long as you don't need a passport asap and don;t have a holiday booked you will be fine just to re apply for a new passport and they will block your old one. Your photo's will be the same as they're stored on a database...I think the cost to renew is around £90

You will need to apply for a replacement. I don't know which country you are from but in the U.S. you need to apply for a new one. If you were already accepted for one then you just have to get it replaced.

You will need to get it countersigned again and also new photos. Everything has to be up to date as it's a passport and very secure.
