MW2 is trash and changing a few things for a "remaster" won't change the community that once played the game.

Everything that was wrong with the game will persist into a "remaster" if said "remaster" does happen.

So many people think MW2 was the best CoD which yeah, everyone's entitled to their opinion.
In MY opinion i think this is where the franchise went downhill. Stupid killstreaks, attachments such as heartbeat sensors to encourage people to sit around and wait on people.
Perks like marathon and lightweight meaning you can run an unlimited amount of distance, like really? OP SMG's, tubes etc.. childs fantasy.

Cod4 and WaW are miles ahead in my opinion. I'd probably play the remaster if it did get released but lets be honest, microtransactions will ruin it like they have with the latest remaster.

I will agree that some things are annoying with the game (tubes, commando, etc.) but the game was really a couple patches away from being the greatest of all time.

While some of the things you stated are definite issues you cannot deny the innovation that MW2 brought to the franchise. (Customizable kill streaks, titles and emblems, fan favorite dlc maps, and amazing hit detection.)

as much as I and everyone would love this.. we all know that they'll only run the game into the ground, adding new items etc, it'll just ruin the game, the feeling to the game now is perfect and changing it would only ruin that.

I hear that. When I heard that 'Modern Warfare Reimagined' had supply drops I was tight. Even if they did add supply drops would it be worth it if they fixed every flaw with the game?

MW2 was my favorite for a while. I loved that game. Played it way too much. Saying that though, I'm not sure it aged well. I can barely play MWR. I loved MW as well, but it just didn't age well in my opinion. The guns and maps were about perfect in MW2, but the perks ruined a lot of it. I'd still get a remaster of it though. I'd at least try to get all of the achievements in it like I did with the original. I'm not against the idea.
