Agreed. I hope that people who purchased DLC receive it for free (ideally free for all but we all know Activi$ion, so worst case make it $5 per DLC, $10 in total which is not as ridiculous as the $15 for the Variety map pack in CoD 4 remastered) and unfortunately supply drops will almost certainly be in the game (which sucks so much)

I have no doubt that the supply drop system will never leave games because it makes so much money. Just have to take a look at systems like overwatch to see how much revenue can be made. I think it would be even more popular than MWR, and could be an amazing addition to the series.

As I think they should remaster it... you do realize how long we would wait?? Another what 3 years?? That's crazy to wait that long. That would seriously be awesome. But such a long wait. MW2 wound honestly be ancient by then

Why would we need to wait 3 years? All of the Black Ops series (WaW-Bo2) is now backwards compatible. CoD 4 was the first to be remastered it would only make sense in my opinion to remaster the modern warfare series because WaW and up is now on Xbox One, hopefully you understand what I mean.

Microtransactions are the way forward for game developers. They'll never leave.

Leave MW2 in the past and bring it back as a back compatible, think that would be the best idea. Can't have everyone moaning after they actually release it.. 'the game is ruined' blah blah blah. It's inevitable.

Think of how us original Modern Warfare fans feel.

I think it is due to the idea that Infinity Ward made the Modern Warfare series. They also made Infinite Warfare, which released with MWR. The question is, do we have to wait for another Infinity Ward game to get another Modern Warfare remaster? Or are they fine releasing them when another company (Sledgehammer or Treyarch) makes a CoD? If they lined it up with Infinity Ward releasing a game, it may be three years.

Yeah I see what you're saying I just think it would make more sense to bring other games to the current gen consoles before bringing the same games twice (ex. Remastering Black Ops 2 right after it was released for backwards compatibility or remastering Black Ops 1 while it's still Backwards compatible and thriving) Also the next game is being created by Sledgehammer Games which if you think about it the only game that they made was AW (minus helping for mw3) and I wonder how to community would react to Advanced Warfare Remastered (not that it needs to be remastered) If I was in charge I would have MW2 RM along with CoD 2017, Black Ops RM with the next treyarch game in 2018, and MW3 RM to complete the MW series when Infinity Ward is up in 2019. Granted that's a while aways but that's just my 2 cents.
