The United States as well as every other super power of this Earth has some sort of missile defense system specifically to combat threats like this. Using a nuke isn't just something you do for the hell of it. If any country, U.S included, decided to use a nuclear warhead on another country in an offensive manner (ie: not to end a war like in the Japan scenario), it would spell disaster for many countries, including those not involved. The threat of immediate and overwhelming response from allies on both sides of the Earth is almost guaranteed and wouldn't end well for anyone in that situation.

Unfortunately, the type of country I can see sending one out recklessly like that is NK -- let's just hope China puts their foot down and tells Kim to cut it out.

tl;dr: Launching nukes isn't so simple like cod, it's not that black and white.

The only thing that has to happen is to get a 25 killstreak? I think trump can do that with his eyes closed

Considering a target is two counties over from me, I feel sorta screwed if this were to happen.

There's 2 spots in California with a lot of areas.
I live in one of those spots.

I don't think a nuke will be launched, at all.

I do not believe NK even has working ICBMs so no, im not even slightly worried. Even if they could manage to get one through orbit without being shot down, theres no way their technology would hold up on re entry.

I live close to an AFB that holds a few units such as the 509th BW, 131st BW, 442nd Fighter Wing, 76th Fighter Squadron, and loads more. We also have tons of unused minuteman silos that we haven't used since the Cold War and I'm sure it'd be a great strategic move if they hit this area due to what is located here.
