Whatever you do add 10 minutes a day on the step climb machine if your gym has it each day until you go up to an hour. Keep your hands off handles keep swaying them as if your walking on treadmill. This will help I lose 10 lbs during show prep doing this once you get up to an hour keep going or stay at an hour it's pretty killer and will make you sweat. Good luck

PostMalone wrote So im trying to lose weight and im in the gym for 2-2 1/2 hours of non stop moving doing cardio. I've asked some people and im getting mixed answers. Some are saying thats too long and others are saying that i should be doing a little bit more. My question is , is this a good amount of time for being in the gym doing nonstop cardio. Now i normally take maybe a 2 minute break in between some of the machines i use. Any input is appreciated!

Without reading what others have said, I think this a bad route to take and i'll tell you why.
Based off of what I know, 1200 calories is simply not enough. Not only that but cardio for 2 hours + is excessive. Because not only are you eating almost half as many calories as you should be, you're burning a ton of extra calories from exercising.
Depending how hard you are going, you could be burning an extra 1000 calories from your 2 hour workout if it really is high-intensity stuff. With that being said, you'd be burning 3,000+ calories a day and you'd only be consuming 1200 which is very unhealthy. Yes, you'll lose weight if that's the goal but before long, you'll go crazy.
