As soon I click on one my games to play it loads then says, "Do you own this game or app?" None of my games will start and yes the game disc for that game is in my xbox.

You didnt accidently unplug your external harddrive did you?

I have all my games on an external harddrive which I sometimes unplug and forget about,

I don't even have an external plugged into my Xbox that is not the issue.

Do you by any chance use someone else's account for games? They could have taken it back or set their home xbox to their own. If this isn't the case I don't know sorry.

The games are disc not digital so I dont think so, thanks for trying to help.

That is a rather strange on considering they're discussing copies. I would suggest uninstalling them and re-installing a game. If it's multiple games then test a digital game. If it's okay the seems like might be a hardware issue. If it's the same it might be a software issue in which I'd contact Xbox.

Is your Xbox overheating or making loud sounds when you try to launch a game? I had a similar issue to this last week
