I always get invited to trades but all i have is very rare rocket trails so i get kicked from the trade. How can i get better items? I only get a crate every few hours of playing and get absolute shit.

You really just need better luck with opening crates and doing trade ups.
Or you could just buy the items outright on Rocketleagueexchange.

If you play on Xbox I'd be willing to give you some good trades.

Turbo crates and pcc go for A LOT. You can trade 1-2 crate for almost anything. Just save up your crates if you don't want to gamble getting crap. You'll end up with a rich inventory this way ;)

I would suggest not opening crates, save them all up. Don't trade anyway until you reach around 6-10 turbos. This may take you 2-5 days depending on your luck getting them and how much you play.

Once you have saved up crates, use this spreadsheet to look up prices so you can trade with other people. Don't ever do a trade if you are not getting profit. You will always get someone to overpay, they may overpay by 1 crate or by 10. You just gotta be patient.
