So, Avast and AVG had an update that interfered with the pvr software i use. So I was told to uninstall it, Any good free lightweight antiviruses? Free, not trial based.
I'm careful what i download so i dont need something super protective, just something simple. thanks

I'm not sure if Kaspersky has a free version but I'm using that and it seems to be simple and nice
I also have a PVR so I know what you mean

I'm using Windows Defender Microsoft Anti-Virus software and its really great software. In windows 10 you can get it by default otherwise you can download it from Microsoft Websites [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] and its free antivirus software. Still I'm using this software working perfectly never give me any issue. For me it is the great free antivirus software.

Only thing I have on my pc is malwarebytes. I don't download dodgy shit so I don't need to worry too much.

Antivirus is all personal preference imo.
I used to not have an antivirus for the longest time, however I've recently started downloading from some skeptical sites so I'm currently using Bit Defender, with Malwarebytes on the side.

I use Peerblock, BitDefender and Malwarebytes premium
But yea antivirus programs are pretty much personal preference they all have the same features so nothing's special
