im using msi afterburner and every time i start up my pc once it gets to the sign in page the fans turn off and will not let me turn them on they will not turn on unless i do something in msi afterburner and they will only turn on for like a sec then go back off

Are you talking about your GPU fans? If so, what GPU do you have?

for my gpu i use EVGA precision XOC which you can download on steam. you can also install a program called fanspead they can help you control your fans

My case is probably different but when i am running my pc usually the cpu fan runs according to temp and the ventilation fan usually only runs when i am running big programs such as games.
Although you did say you had a fan speed control app i thought i would add my almost 2 cents in.lol.

Considering you're using Afterburner, I'm going to assume that your gpu has the silent technology that doesn't start the fans until it reaches 60c.
