They're album in 2014 wasn't bad, I actually enjoyed it. But yes their old music did have some of my favorite songs of all time.

I kind of appreciate both sides of the table on this debate. To all the older fans who appreciate albums like meteora and hybrid theory, I can see their standpoint as do most of us older linkin park fans. Hell ive been listening to them since meteora and i can see how heavy they used to be compared to now. But i can also appreciate some of the much newer and not so familiar with the older linkin park because to those people, They sound quite generic and not as heavy (which some people including me like). Either way i appreciate both their old and newer music and over the past few days have adapted to their newer style
P.S: I know it seems like a super late comment, But ive only just seen the topic and wanted to add my bit into the conversation

Personally, I love listening to their early 2000's stuff even to this day. I'm not really a fan of their newer songs, but when it came to hybrid theory and Meteora, I fell in love with those albums. I'm pretty sure they're coming out with a new album soon, since they have new singles availble on Spotify. So I'm excited to hear what else they release.
