Not sure if this is the right section to put this, but does anyone know anything a thing or two about bitcoin? Was wondering the quickest and easiest way to obtain. Any help is appreciated.

trading and or buying is the easiest and quickest way to obtain minus the whole value for value issue.

You could mine but it would take awhile for you to make more of a profit mining then you did on power.

If you literally were planning on mining, you better have a beastly computer or a great server. In regards to obtaining them, you will have to find a forum or service that will exchange BTC for whatever you have (most common is PayPal). Note that when you purchase BTC, you're most likely going to get charged 15% of what you're asking.

If I wanted 50.00 in BTC, I'd be paying around 58 dollars for it. I recommend investing in alt-coins which are other types of coins similar to BTC. Better chance at making money.
