The game is nowhere close to dead I play it everyday on 360 and its so rare for me to join a public modded lobby the game is still alive with full lobbies of legit players its obvious that anyone who thinks its dead or has problems with the game need to fix there shit cause mine works like a charm finds full games instantly even when i do rage quit theres other full lobbies it can find ina second

i think the reason behind you only finding a few players is that you need to delete the map packs you my have purchased back in the day. I had the same problem, but after deleting i get into full lobby with ease

This is so good to know. I'm getting an RGH soon with MW2 installed on the HDD and I plan on playing that game legit with no mods on it.

Let's see how long this lasts. You can't just have an RGH and not mod the game that started the jtag revolution in the first place... this game was the most modded game of it's time. So modded that people ended up going back and modding the shit out of CoD4.

Unfortunately the game is dead, one of the best Call of Duties in history has been left to die or at least it seems that way. There have been no signs of the game coming out as backwards compatible although I'm expecting a remaster in the future. Until then the game will be dry which is sad to see since it was such a great game
