A new vehicle has entered our lives and therefore I'd like to gather some opinions as I know this car has been quite controversial..
Land Rover Discovery 5

I'd just like to see what people think of the colour combo and the styling of the car in general.
Thanks

Looks smart, hopefully put together a bit better than the Disco Sport.. my old man has a Disco Sport and it's been nothing but trouble since day 1

I'd been reading all over the LR forums about the shoddy quality.. Seems to be quite 50/50, so far I've found one minor problem with a bit of trim but not too bad at the moment.

To be brutally honest, I love the looks and feel of them but I'll never own one. Land rover in general has so many issues and all they are is an overpriced Jeep. They do look damn nice though!

Range Rovers/Land Rovers are the worst vehicles, literally.
I have been a police officer for almost a year.
I have responded to 12 motor vehicles assist calls. 4 of them were Range Rovers
They have nothing but problems and when they do occur, they cost a crap load of money to fix.

I have to say, over the years of owning each model, there has been a slight rise in price each time and also they seem to be losing their quality as the years go on.. It's such a shame but at least they have aced the exterior

I've heard bad things about Range Rover transmissions and mechanical switches dying quickly (windows, sun roof, etc.) I can't stand any "luxury" SUV though such as Range Rovers or G Wagons or even Porsche Cayennes. If you want a family car just buy a cheaper ford suv because they're built a bit better and use the extra money for something else
