So i restarted my PC like normal but then it come back on and i typed my password in there was no desktop i was thing damn this is taking ages too load so i pressed Ctrl Alt+ Del and i could see task manager.. ive done every thing the YouTube videos said to do to fix my Black screen with cursor but nothing works! some one HELP ME ASAP PLEASE

Are you using Windows 10?

Idk why but sometimes on W10 when you see the black screen with a cursor on startup, it takes a while to come on. Try leaving your PC on at the black screen for about 20-30 minutes.

I have no explanation to why this works, but I've saw it a few times on customers PCs.

Sounds like you got a virus, if you can see the task manager go to New Task Run and type in explorer.exe then download an anti virus I recommend malware bytes then run a custom scan on your whole hard drive.

throw it into safe mode without networking and check then. Could just be malware ramping up background processes that use internet, but force a lot of CPU.

cant use explorer.exe :/ dont open up properly...

I've had this problem before but it was because I had a pirated copy of Win7 on it. Not sure if that's the case?

I've had this problem before but it was because I had a pirated copy of Win7 on it. Not sure if that's the case?

Ah i see... i had problems with my pc before and couldnt find my windows disk.. download windows so this might be why.. lol thanks

The proper cmd for IE is iexplorer.exe

The proper cmd for IE is iexplorer.exe
They want explorer, not Internet Explorer..
