I am changing my setup and was wanting to have like a model rifle up on a shelf or a few model guns just for aesthetics. I have been trying to find some online but the only ones I can find are 1:6 or 1:3 scale.

Even if the guns are paper.. or mad colours as I know you cant have guns that actually look like guns for legal reasons here in the UK

Thanks in advance!

you are able to get model replicas of guns in the Uk but you require a membership to a gun club or a certain licence to own a replica weapon. Anyway an actual full scale replica is quite expensive depending on the gun model but I was looking at a Thompson and it was around 500 GBP so If I was you I would get air soft guns and spray the tip black

If I was you, I would buy a Airsoft gun, paint it black and have it on display so long as its to never the leave the room AT ALL.

Since its just for looks go a bullpup design. For example SA80 (L85A2) or Steyr AUG A1

Considering how strict the firearm laws are in the U.K. i wouldn't risk it at all, however if you really want a replica.

Just buy an airsoft gun, most are pretty identical replicas. I wouldn't paint the tip black though as suggested above.

As a police officer, in a situation where split second decisions are made, if i see what looks to be a real Glock or AR-15 in your hands. I won't stop to politely ask if they are real if you understand what i am saying..

That is how the real world works.

Just be careful bud.
