Bulletproof doesn't refer to the regular term, in the automotive world it refers to an engine won't go bad essentially, mostly of the time by 3rd parties replacing certain weak points in a motor

It needs to have a certain amount of Bullet Proof Diesel parts on it before it can be called bulletproof, which generally means every piece they sell for that truck. For a Ford 6.0L you will need the Bullet Proof Diesel EGR cooler, oil cooler, billet water pump, and FICM.
