Yeeeessss omg, they complain when I spend money on anything. Food, car parts, my girlfriend, xbox membership, tattoos (understandable), etc, etc.

My mom used to get pissed off all the time because she knew I wanted to propose to my girlfriend, but I wasn't saving anything for a ring to do it. I had the money for awhile, but was just nervous and not ready to do it. I just pretty much ignored her and kept spending money on the things I liked doing, which was buying shoes, and going out a lot.

Now she tells me that I need to start saving everything for the wedding. I've just finished moving pretty much everything into my new place, and am almost ready to live there. When I actually do move out, I guarantee she's still going to bug me about money.

I work for and spend my OWN money. My dad tried complaining but i told him i spend it on what i wish (Festivals, games, drink and friends) everything i enjoy. If you work for your money nobody can tell you how to spend it. Enjoy yourself.
