Well I mean if your router supports a VPN setup you can do that. If it doesn't the VPN would run off your computer, you would need to connect your RGH to PC with ethernet, then from your PC connect to Internet over WiFi and bridge connections. If you don't have WiFi on your PC than you could look for a Ethernet to USB adapter.

I've been trying to establish a connection from my pc to my rgh. I have everything set up I've watchable bunch of tutorials it's really not complicated but I can't seem to get it to connect. I think it's and issue with my pc but I can figure it out. I have it connects to the USB adapter I have my VPN shared with the ethernet. Yet I still have no connection. It's listed as an unidentified net work with no access. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

When you connected the RGH Ethernet/USB to your PC did another Ethernet connection appear on your Network/Sharing centre?

Ahh yes there are 2 that appear to be ethernet connections. Ethernet which is the adapter that I bought. And the other is local area connection.

You didn't touch the local area connection did you? I have same setup myself Ethernet/USB from RGH to PC and VPN on my PC.

Leave both the local area connection and Ethernet/USB connection alone. Only touch the VPN connection, right click it, go to sharing tab, check mark "allow other network users..." from the drop down list right below it select the Ethernet/USB connection.

Should take less than a minute to load and your Xbox to get Internet. Then from your Xbox ensure you have the settings all set to automatic so your Xbox will grab all that info automatically.

If any issues could try rebooting your PC and try again.
