yes. thats what the read me says to do to change the welcome message and to add your own custom message in the edit section of the messages tab.

take a screenshot of what you've changed and please link it here, so I can see if you changed or removed a bit of coding that's causing an issue.

What i edited in gsc studio isnt causing the issue. Its when i edit this area of the dev dvars file... that causes it to freeze up.

Easier to understand if opened in GSC Editor. can you re-open in GSC and screenshot in there please?

no i already edited that and it worked. it quit working after i edited what i had screenshoted and circled. all cyntax are correct when what you screenshotted in gsc.

what you screenshotted, did you edit that in GSC editor? - did you accidently remove any "'s or :'s

no i edited it in notepad and saved it. should i try editing it in gsc studio and then exporting it again? or...

Do it in GSC if you edit with Notepad, it'll mess up because it was made with HEX there's code for each char, if you go over the original set limit that was made in HEX it will not work.

IF IN NOTEPAD: You must have exactly the same amount of characters when editing.

Although I'm pretty sure you can only edit the Main_.gsc in this version as he has not released the actual Source.

i dont guess you "can" edit the dev dvar file in gsc. all i get is gibberish text in gsc studio [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Exactly the only way to edit it is if you edit by chars, but it's a waste of time and might still mess up not worth the hassle, wait for a source version to be released.

I don't thing he'll release the source but so many have cracked the real source for v4.2 i wouldnt doubt if it was soon. I might try editing it in notepad but adding spaces for missing characters to see if it works. If not then i guess itll stay the way i have it. rip.

It was never cracked it was leaked someone had the original source, as the source came with things with text from certain creators etc.

How to edit the menu title of jiggy i asked jiggy can i use his 4.2 base source he said yeah. So for the _ambientpackage and _development_dvars i finished it and i finished the _rank but when i put it in I got the other stuff to work it says Hello welcome host name to Project Malu v4.2 but when you open the menu it says Jiggy v4.2 Base by Jiggy777 under main mods and everything. How do i change that and how do i get the _stickygrenade_.gsc
