?? Intel has made massive improvements on its IGPU over the past generations. That CPU will be able to do some light gaming no problem.
OP - This is what you should expect.

notebook processors are lower clocked dualcore, unlike a traditional laptop. Keep in mind notebooks let out less power and running a benchmark does show realtime online and offline results it shows a simple gameplay that can be repeated multiple times.

So running a game benchmark is worse the a synthetic benchmark because it doesn't show real world performance?
Also, [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] suggests that it is a dual core, 4 thread CPU. So not only can it manage multicore workloads, it will be able to turbo to 3.5Ghz which is a decent speed for that architecture.

Mulithread* 3.5/3.2 is average for laptop boost speeds nothing special there. A synthetic benchmark shows a better performance rate in most cases other then gaming, consider you're asking a CPU to render the shaders, as well as the main engine. Intels integrated has come a long way, but not that far. The video you posted was with the inspiron 15, which in both cases the gaming variation and the normal one have a good performance. Also his laptop was running off an SSD and not a 5400 rpm disk. So load times are in play. Also his res will be a bit bigger then the inspirons, so there is another decrease instantly at times.
