do you need gold membership to play BO1 multiplayer?

Yes you do, any online multiplayer game requires that you have a gold membership in order to play.

Gold spoof works on black ops 2 I think it worked when I had no gold when I was using ninja and teapot not sure if you were asking that and rest of cods you need gold

on xb1 if you have gold on any account you should be able to share it as long as the gold account sets your xbox as its home xbox
