Brought some A40's a week or so ago, got them at a great deal and given i have an Xbox and PC they seemed ideal, however

Every now and then the left ear seems to make a weird buzzing noise, sounds exactly like there's a fly inside it (took the headset off and checked first time lmao) Its only happened like twice since ive noticed it, but im not too keen on this becoming a bigger issue in a few months when i cant just return them...

I brought A40 TR's, Refurb's from Amazon, they were too cheap to not try, ive done a couple searches and this doesn't appear to be a common issue.

Has anyone had this before with the A40's or any headphones? Should i just return them get some nice cans, like i feel like i should have to start with

Thaaaanks!

What it sounds like to me is a loose connection or something of the sort. It happened to a pair of Turtle Beaches I had a few years back. If its not a major problem & they're still usable then just stick with them, if not and its too bad then just send them back.

Did it get any worse with you TB's?

Right now its hardly an issue, just concerned if its going to get worse mainly

Once I realised about it I kept as good care of them as possible and was careful not to cause any further damage, so no. It didn't get too bad for quite a while. After about 8 months or something I got sloppy and stopped giving a shit, that's when it started to get worse

I had that problem during the winter when we had the heat on. This caused our house to be really dry and as a result there was a lot of static electricity.

As a result, any headphones had an occasional noise like this because of that static.
