For some reason, on my MSI motherboard, when i enable A-XMP and reboot the computer, i get no signal to my monitor and have to reset the CMOS. Why is this happening? Thanks

When you enabled XMP, was there any profiles to choose from or was it a manual setting? At manual, you may need to adjust the voltage and speed, which could be the problem you're having; my guess would be purely on the voltage side. If there is profiles, look at them all as they will/should be different.

They should be something along the lines of like this:

DDR4 (different RAM speeds) [followed by the timings for your RAM, which are here and in your RAM manual] 15-15-15-36 and the profiles should be at different voltages or around the same depending on the difference.

DRAM frequency you can keep to auto or change it yourself. DDR 2/3/4 is Double Data Rate, meaning RAM uses intervals of 2, so your 3000 MHz would equate to 1500 MHz if you plan to go the manual route for DRAM frequency.

I should have mentioned in your previous post, there is no guarantee you will be getting that boost on your RAM, very good chances it will work, but nothing is concrete. Again, hardware is different, doing this is an overclock despite the RAM being advertised for those speeds and if you went ahead and already OC'ed your CPU and at a higher speed, while trying to do both XMP and CPU OC, now you're stressing your IMC.
