It's World War II. There were no exo-suits, no "enhancement drinks", no nothing. It was just regular men who went to war against the Axis powers. I agree with Sledgehammer to try to make it as realistic as possible and keep history in check.

I didn't even know there was unlimited sprint in the past few CoD games and I don't run all the time so I really couldn't have seen it. But it's the past, they can't make a soldier run for 100% of the time if they want to make it as realistic as possible.

And yes, I know that BF1 has unlimited sprint in a WWI game. The sizes of the maps on that game are ridiculously huge (at least in Operations) but I still don't see the point in unlimited sprint, takes away the reality.
I agree with this, especially the last bit about battlefield 1 and the map sizes. If CoD had bigger maps they wouldn't have needed to remove unlimited sprint. I think they're trying to steer people away from the current run and gun, no teamwork type of game play going on now. With the maps so small using unlimited sprint is pretty ridiculous. The majority of the time you end up in a fire fight from less than 10 feet from each other and whoever has the better connection usually wins, and your teammates are no where in sight lol. I like battlefield game play a lot more
