With the release of Zombies Chronicles that brought us 8 remade maps from old Treyarch games, we also got a supply drop update bringing 2 new weapons, the AK-74u and the m1911 shortly after the release of Chronicles. The community was disappointed and an outrage occurred when Treyarch didn't add these 2 guns to the DLC. People wanted these weapons added because the M1911 was the start weapon to maps and they just wanted the old feels of the guns back in zombies. Treyarch posted on Twitter yesterday tweeting they will be adding the M1911 to zombies in the next week. No details on if the AK-74u will be coming with it but more tweets from Treyarch this week are to be expected.

We also have no details yet if it's going to be the starting weapons to the new maps like it was before or it will just be a wall gun / box gun. There was also some complaints on the gun for how it sounds and reloads. The reload and sound of the M1911 isn't the same as it was before and the community is asking for a patch.
