I was playing GTAV about 10 minutes ago on my RGH, and I got kicked off because it said there was a dash update? Im on dash 17511.

I am online fine, there is no dash update. Your avatar update probably got corrupted and needs to he redone. If you notice all your avatars are grey whilst sat at the login page before being prompted to download the update, then its an avatar update

Yes, you are correct. So, should I just put the whole 17511 update on there or search for just the avatar part?

you are safe to download the update from xbox live itself, no need to do it via usb

If you keep getting this update over and over again, contact me as I have a fix or check out my post in the Xbox forums.

But as stated above, you're safe to update
