So my wife and I recently moved, literally two days ago, and we are no longer renting or leasing anything, outright bought the house, and I moved mountains to set it all up in a single day, with perfect timing for internet and electricity to be set up too, because she can't sleep at night without TV for reasons I'd like to avoid disclosing.

But now with that huge financial obstacle out of the way, her and I are looking for a set of laptops. If you saw my post, I recently bought a new one, I'm on it right now, but honestly, it's a cheap little HP I picked up for less than 300, just to get rid of the one I had before because it sucked. We aren't big into desktops because we move around the house too much, one sec we'll be in the room, then the living room, then out back, so we're going for laptops. Money truly isn't an obstacle because I have a surplus of around 400 dollars now with every single check, thats after bills and groceries, and she has her own income from disability that makes it around 700 every check that's just ours to do whatever with, so with enough paydays, I could get anything really, but her and I are looking to stay under $1500 each.

We aren't too particular on brand, but something built for gaming is preferable so we can have the satisfaction knowing it'll last. We both do moderate gaming, nothing too crazy, and other moderate things like graphic design, video editing.

I've been looking into the Razer Blade line, but truthfully, their laptops seem way too thin to have good heat management, but I'd like the opinions and recommendations of the community, because I'm good with the software side, but clueless on hardware.
