I can see why you find this annoying however I have a few problems with it:

this is for off topic discussion. If it was a strictly gaming forum then I could see why
People might not know where to look for help
Someone could be having a bad day and might need someone to talk to
people talking about their personal experience can help each other going through the same thing


it's quite easy to just not click on these topics. I personally don't as I sort of feel the same way however if people want to post it it's their choice.

Off topic means this a forum for anything if they want to post a topic to express themselves let them... If that helps them so be it.. if you ain't got nothing to say to motivate them or anything scroll past it.. no need to rant over this.

As people have previously said it is named "Off-Topic" meaning off the gaming discussion so they really have the right to post these problems but if it's serious problems like life threatening i wouldn't ben posting them here i would be contacting someone
